Hi All,
Edgerton (in BHSD under "deva", page 270) says that b.rhatphala is written as v.rhatphala in the Mahaavastu 2, and the Mahaavyutpatti. He gives the Paali equivalent as vehapphala. So presumably it is a bahuvriihi meaning "he whose fruit is abundant",as per Buddhaghosa.
I would like to get a set of Buddhaghosa's commentaries. Are these available digitally? and if not, what is the best edition to buy?

Abhidharmako.sa has b.rhatphala. What bothers me is the fact that the Pali
canon has brahat for b.rhat.
