Dhammapadaṃ, 1. Yamakavaggo (The Pairs), Verse 6

pare ca na vijānanti | mayamettha yamāmase ||
ye ca tattha vijānanti | tato sammanti medhagā || 6 ||

6. Others too do not know that we should restrain ourselves here,
     but those who have knowledge in this respect, thereby their quarrels
          cease.
