Dear Bryan, Nina and friends,

I trust that everyone is doing well. This discussion forum is open for all levels of participation. It is certainly a great opportunity we have to study the Pali language with a worldwide community in the age of digital communications.

Given the recent incident, please let me stress that we must maintain open, honest and friendly communications. We are privileged to have very learned members in the group, including Bryan, Nina, Suan Lu Zaw and several others. When we discuss and even 'debate' about the specifics of the Pali language, please show basic courtesy, kindness and respect to all members of the group. All discussions are voluntary, out of a willingness to share with others. As an engineer, I can understand it is sometimes difficult to clarify areas where clarity is required. It really takes knowledge and skills for a person to be able to explain things well. Not everyone can do that. Let us be patient with one another.

Nina, I have trouble reading the emails you forwarded for Suan Lu Zaw. I believe it may be due to the recent changes introduced by Yahoo! Groups. These messages seem to be not HTML compliant and are not properly displayed on the Groups' website. I will inform the group if I have more information on the technical issues. However, I think it will be good if you let Suan Lu Zaw post the messages himself.
