samatha·jhaana, vipassanaa·jhaana

Bhante, respect.

I am possibly missing something, because it seems to me the terms
samatha·jhaana and vipassanaa·jhaana emerge already in the Nikaya:

Samyutta Nikaya XXXV.204 (Kimsuka Sutta)

Anguttara Nikaya II.29 (Vijja-bhagiya Sutta)

Anguttara Nikaya IV.94 (Samadhi Sutta)

Anguttara Nikaya IV.170 (Yuganaddha Sutta) Anguttara Nikaya X.71
(Akankha Sutta)

with the last one explicitely connecting jhaana to both samatha and
vipassanaa.
