Thanks. I think the spelling with two -kkhaa instead of khaa tricked me. I'm still not certain how sa.mki.n.na comes to mean 'filled in', but it starts to look unavoidable. Though the metaphor seems a strange one for someone who is vimuttacitta, I suppose it made sense at the time.
