Dear Thomas,

I have been to India several times. A friend of mine gave me the name of a local agent (in Delhi) - Thakur Singh
biland singh <thakur1207@...>,

who made all the arrangements, picked us up at Delhi, etc. on each occasion. He is very reliable and quite cheap. I suggest you contact him and tell him what you want to do and when you're coming and he can give you a quote,

Best, Bryan

P. S. tell him you got his name from me (Bryan Levman)

Subject: [Pali] Visiting the historical sites of the Buddha

Dear Pali friends,

Could anyone instruct me how to (from Australia) books accommodations and transportations for independently visiting the major sites (in Nepal and India) of the historical Buddha? I am unable to do so completely through the Internet. So far, I think one has to go to India (or Nepal) first, and then from there to make bookings, arrangements, for the pilgrimage tours? But this way of visiting the sites could be very uncertain and risky.

Any advice will be greatly appreciated.

Sincerely,

Thomas Law
