I use passages from http://www.tipitaka.org/ for our sutta translation exercises. Another example is the dash symbol from this website. I think it is not Unicode-compliant, but I could be wrong.

Using an example from AN2.2 Adhikaraṇavaggo, sutta 17. First I will paste text directly from the site:

Ekamantaṃ nisinno kho jāṇussoṇi brāhmaṇo bhagavantaṃ etadavoca â€" ‘‘ko nu kho, bho gotama, hetu ko paccayo yena midhekacce sattā kāyassa bhedā paraṃ maraṇā apāyaṃ duggatiṃ vinipātaṃ nirayaṃ upapajjantī’’ti?

Now, this is the Velthuis, I have also overwrite all punctuation symbols with my keyboard:

Ekamanta.m nisinno kho jaa.nusso.ni braahma.no bhagavanta.m etadavoca - "ko nu kho, bho gotama, hetu ko paccayo yena midhekacce sattaa kaayassa bhedaa para.m mara.naa apaaya.m duggati.m vinipaata.m niraya.m upapajjantii"ti?
