I should have said "not-so-academic".

We are all aware that there is a significant number of Pali and Buddhism scholars among us, their contributions to this group we hold high regards. However, we just do not operate in the strict academic environment, even though we will always strive to meet the high standards and requirements of the academia. In addition, we also have to cater to members who are interested in more general Pali discussions.
