The point that Jim makes is valid. Cha-mhi is a really curious form: a
singular (loc.) suffix added to a word that has a plural sense.

Although chahi is the regular instr. form, chabbhi is not impossible.
It corresponds to the Skt instrumental form 'sa.dbhi.h. The trouble
then is the meaning. We will have to construe chabbhi with paasa-
satehi. The phrase would mean "with 600 snares". What can that
possibly mean?

It looks to be a really problematic case.
