Should have checked the facts myself.

BTW the discussion over the anomalous sentence in Buddhadatta really
ended up being a sort of mini-lesson in philology and editing of
scholarly editions of texts, something of value to learn how to do in
its own right.

Anyone know of books that treat this subject in greater depth, or is
this just something that has to be acquired from experience?
