The possibility of Pali Skypecasts has been proposed, I would just
like to elicit comments on how best to go about getting more Pali
audio online to complement the rich text resources at this site.
Bhikku Bodhi has prepared some wonderful recordings for the Pali
reading book that he uses in his class but IMHO recordings for A.P.
Buddhadatta Thera's New Pali course (Silva, Narada, Warder too) would
be a lot more valuable for beginners because the texts presents simple
straightforward vocabulary and grammar in a very incremental fashion.
The idea of sponsoring monks with very good Pali pronunciation to make
recordings to match the texts which are already online would be a good
idea. (IMHO It's usually not a good idea to let reading skills get too
far ahead of oral skills such as pronunciation.) But how about doing
is this beats me since I am not really connected to the monastic
community.
