Hi John;
I would be happy to add Burmese. I don't think anyone would mind if
you posted on the list so that other Burmese speakers can check the list?
1) Can the Burmese characters all be represented with 2 character
codes? Right now I just use 2 character codes for simplicity but I can
use longer or shorter codes if needed. It's work but not a lot of
work. If there is some sort of international standard for
transliterating western letters into Burmese then it would be a good
idea to stick with that.
2) Just post to this list the Unicode *decimal* values for the Burmese
characters with the western code ie 9999 bA (or whatever). Please
don't forget any punctuation!
3) In your post, please add notes about fonts so I can note it on the
web page and try to specify it in the javascript code.
Last but not least, if you forget something I can just add it later.
The mantra of programmers : test, test, test !
