I really have problems understanding the structure of this sentence.
What is the subject of bhagavanta.m avanditvaa? Since Ra~n~naa is in
the instrumental what is the subject of the sentence?
What is the fucntion of pana here?
To what does vandite refer? If it is a locative absolute then the
subject should also be in the locative which is not the case. It can
be an accusative plural but then I don't understand the meaning of it.
naama ekasaakiyopi naahosi: I translated that by "was certainly not
one belonging to the Sakya race". Is it correct? What is the function
of naama?
