bhavantu!

2. O monks, there are three causes to sin.
bhikkhave / tayo / hetavo / paapa.m / santi
Tayo bhikkhave hetavo paapa.m santi.

3. All the people in the world fall down by death as a tree
falls down when cut at the root.
sabbaa / manussaa / loke / patanti / mara.nena / yathaa /
rukkho / patati / chinno / muule
Sabbaa manussaa loke mara.nena patanti yathaa rukkho muule
chinno patati.

4. I, being such a person, will not carry out your word, but my
mother's.
aha.m / honto / evaruupo / puggalo / na karomi / tuyha.m /
vacana.m / tathaapi / me / maatuyaa
Evaruupo puggalo honto, aha.m tathaapi me maatuyaa tuyha.m
vacana.m na karomi.

5. If this prince leaves the household-life he will become an
all-knowing one.
yadi / eso / raajakumaaro / pabbajati / anagaariya.m /
so / bhavissati / subba~n~nuu
Yadi eso raajakumaaro anagaariya.m pabbajati, so subba~n~nuu
bhavissati.

6. Now I went with my children to the monastery and returned after
listening to a sermon.
idaani / aha.m / gantvaa / saha / mayha.m / daarakehi /
vihaara.m / aagami.m / sutvaa / katha.m
Idaani aha.m mayha.m daarakehi saha vihaara.m gantvaa katha.m
