Dear Nina,
Thank you for your feedback.
I have a comment on what you wrote below:
" It is interesting to see many different points of view. It is
motivated not by a person but by different cittas that are
conditioned by accumulated inclinations, surroundings, people one
associates with etc. Whatever appears is just dhamma, it is without a
soul or self."
You mentioned that you found the following idea helpful to keep in mind:
" Whatever appears is just dhamma, it is without a soul or self."
I find the following idea helpful for me to keep in my mind:
"What ever appears in the mind of an arahant is just dhamma. For the
non-arahant what appears in their mind is a distorted version dhamma. The
distortion originates from accumulated sankharas. The more sankharas the
more distortion. The sankharas originate from sannayas. The sannayas
originate from vedanas. The vedanas originate from contact with the six
sense spheres. The six sense spheres include sensory organs internal to the
mind and body and sensory stimuli both internal and external to the mind and
body."
With kind wishes and best regards,
Mike

Dear Mike S,
Thank you for your observations. I am glad you find the list useful.
It is interesting to see many different points of view. It is
motivated not by a person but by different cittas that are
conditioned by accumulated inclinations, surroundings, people one
associates with etc. Whatever appears is just dhamma, it is without a
soul or self. I find it helpful to keep this in mind.
Nina.
