Please don't forget that translations, same as
original texts, are automatically copyrighted until
seventy years after the death of the author (in this
case,the English translator), so if you have made the
translation from an English version, you will need the
permission of the English translator or his
inheritors.

Unless he has been dead for more than seventy years,
in which case his version will probably be antiquated.
