It is possible to find examples in post-canonical pali of A. For instance na sakkaa maggo akkhaatu.m: "the way cannot be told," Milinda 269. I have noticed similar examples in the commentarial lit. sakkaa is in some cases used in agreement with a noun in the nominative as in A. B is common. Thus both readings are possible.

Sentence B. "Vitthaaram. idha vattum. na sakkaa," is forged by me.

Among the two sentences below, it seems to me the the second sentence, where the infinitive 'vattum' has a object in Accusative, is more frequent and therefore correct. But I am not sure.
A. Vitthaaro idha vattum. na sakkaa.
B. Vitthaaram. idha vattum. na sakkaa .
