Emne: [Pali] Help on -ttha.m

The -ttha.m is attha.m acc. of attha. It is here used adverbially in the
sense of "for the sake of, in order to" or the like.

Dear friends,

I am doing the preparation for the translation exercise AN2.1.2
Padhaana Sutta, and I am stuck with the -ttha.m endings in these two
compounds:

1.
ciivarapi.n.dapaatasenaasanagilaanapaccayabhesajjaparikkhaaraanuppadaanattha
.m

2. sabbuupadhipa.tinissaggattha.m

I have no problem with the components making up the compounds,
however, I cannot figure out what the -ttha.m endings mean. Please
help. Thank you.

metta,
Yong Peng.
