Dear Nina,
thanks for your reminder on tappurisa compounds. I had Warder's for
about 10 years now, so I thought it is good to get started, before
moving on to Buddhadatta's Part 2. I hope that by going through the
first 16 lessons reinforces what I have covered in Pali Primer,
Narada's and Buddhadatta's Part 1. At the same time, I hope it
prepares me for Buddhadatta's Part 2, by covering the theory which the
other three lack. After finishing Buddhadatta's Part 2, I will come
back to Warder's to work through the advance lessons.
I am working my way through Exercise 15 now, but have only covered
only the first few lessons (theory). I have to admit that Warder's is
suitable for intensive study, and prerequisite knowledge of Pali is
needed, otherwise a teacher is required.
I hope that our discussion may inspire someone to pick up a Pali text
and start the personal journey of discovery.
metta,
Yong Peng.

I always put off Warder because I have so much work. However, if you
or anyone else has a remark, I would still take up the book. I need
little instigations, like from you today. Lesson 13 reminded me.
