Dear friends,

I like to thank Gunnar, George, John and Ole for their assistance in
the latest run. Once again, let us continue with the group reading.

1. Please read Lessons 9 to 12 of the book, and complete as much of
the exercises as possible.

2. Please write to the group, by replying to this post, to share your
thoughts and ideas, and discuss any topic or ask any question related
to these four lessons.

Discussion on the previous eight lessons is fine, but please post
under the thread "Introduction to Pali 1 (1/4)"
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pali/message/11219 or "Introduction to
Pali 1 (2/4)" http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Pali/message/11269

3. For those who has just joined or is catching up, I have prepared a
PDF study guide for the book covering Lessons 1 to 8 available for
download here: http://www.tipitaka.net/paliintroguide.pdf

4. Further information, including sample texts from the book,
solutions to the exercises and book ordering details, are available
here: http://www.tipitaka.net/pali/synthesis/intro.00.cdv

5. The next schedule will be released on June 27.

I look forward to your participation.
