Dear Nina and Ole,
continuing with our exercise.
It is now clear about vajjabhiiruu.
* vajjabhiiruu (m) one fearful of faults.
...vajjabhiiruno bhavissaama vajjabhayadassaavino...
those fearful of faults / (we) should become / those who see danger in
faults
...we should become those (who are) fearful of faults, we should
become those who see the danger in faults...
Vajjabhiiruno, bhikkhave, vajjabhayadassaavino eta.m paa.tika`nkha.m
ya.m parimuccissati sabbavajjehii"ti.
for one fearful of faults / monks / for one who sees danger in faults
/ this / is expected / which / will be released / from all faults
For one (who is) fearful of faults, monks, for one who sees the danger
in faults, it is inevitable that (he) will be released from all faults."
The use of 'inevitable' comes from the commentary 'avassa.mbhaavi'.
Please correct me if there is any mistake.
metta,
Yong Peng.
