I appreciate and share your concern about entering upon an intellectual
exercise. However, that was far from my intention. Incidentally, I practice
vipassana meditation and read the words of the Tathagat for inspiration and
in order to complement the practice. It was in that context and for this
purpose that I sought the clarifications on the quoted passage.
