Hello everyone,

I remember that E.J.Thomas, already quoted, alludes to
the hypothesis according to which at the time of the
Buddha, dominant clans of Himalayan tribes were given
the status of Khattiya by the Indo-Aryans. That might
be what happened with the Sakya if these were
"Himalayans" rather than Aryans.
