Dear all,

I have an unusual question.
In a book I read (The Buddhist Concepts of Kamma and Rebirth) it is said
that the lifespan of devas and brahma's is not always long, up to the
experation of their lifespan, but that some can die young, or in middle
age too, depending on the power of their kamma.
In the suttas, e.g AN 3:70 & 114 (A III 213 & 114), etc, the lifespans
(ayuppamaana) of devas are given and, up to my knowledge, there is no
indication anywhere that they can die before the ending of their
lifespans. Is it said anywhere that devas can expire before the end of
their normal lifespan?
Thanks.
