There are two lines from the arahantsutta which I'm not sure how to
translate. what I did was to combine the two lines together:
pahiinamaanassa na santi ganthaa,
vidhuupitaa maanaganthassa sabbe.
I took ganthaa (fetter, bond) as Nominative plural,
sabbe (all) as its adjective,
vidhuupitaa (destroyed), as the Present participle in Nominative
plural,
na santi (do not exist), as the plural verb.
maanaganthassa (the fetter of conceit), although in Gen, has an
Ablative meaning, or maybe the meaning of "when"...
My transaltion goes like this:
"All the bonds are destroyed and do not exits, because/when the
fetter of conceit is given up/abandoned.
