kaayassa bhedaa para.m mara.naa sugati.m sagga.m loka.m upapajjanti
yathayida.m, bhikkhave, sammaadi.t.thi. Sammaadi.t.thiyaa, bhikkhave,
samannaagataa sattaa kaayassa bhedaa para.m mara.naa sugati.m sagga.m
loka.mupapajjantii"ti.

19-25. "Micchaadi.t.thikassa, bhikkhave, purisapuggalassa ya~nceva
kaayakamma.m yathaadi.t.thi samatta.m samaadinna.m ya~nca
vaciikamma.m...pe... ya~nca
manokamma.m yathaadi.t.thi samatta.m samaadinna.m yaa ca cetanaa yaa ca
patthanaa yo ca pa.nidhi ye ca sa`nkhaaraa sabbe te dhammaa
ani.t.thaayaakantaaya amanaapaaya ahitaaya dukkhaaya
sa.mvattanti. Ta.m kissa hetu? Di.t.thi hissa, bhikkhave, paapikaa.
Seyyathaapi, bhikkhave, nimbabiija.m vaa kosaatakibiija.m vaa
tittakalaabubiija.m vaa allaaya pathaviyaa nikkhitta.m ya~nceva
pathavirasa.m upaadiyati ya~nca aaporasa.m upaadiyati sabba.m ta.mtittakattaaya
ka.tukattaaya asaatattaaya sa.mvattati. Ta.m kissa hetu? Biija.m hissa,
bhikkhave, paapaka.m. Evameva.m kho, bhikkhave,
micchaadi.t.thikassapurisapuggalassa ya~nceva
kaayakamma.m yathaadi.t.thi samatta.m samaadinna.m ya~nca
vaciikamma.m...pe... ya~nca
manokamma.m yathaadi.t.thi samatta.m samaadinna.m yaa ca cetanaa yaa ca
patthanaa yo ca pa.nidhi ye ca sa`nkhaaraa sabbe te dhammaa

not I / monks / another / even one object / perceive / by which / people /
after the breaking up of the body & after death / happy state / heavenly /
realm / are reborn in / as just this / monks / right view
"O monks, I do not perceive even one other factor by which people are reborn
in a heavenly realm, a state of happiness, after the dissolution of the body
and after death, as just this, monks: right view.

- sugati (f) happy state.
- sagga (m) heaven.
- loka (m) world.

Sammaadi.t.thiyaa, bhikkhave, samannaagataa sattaa kaayassa bhedaa para.m
mara.naa sugati.m sagga.m loka.m upapajjantii"ti.
with right view / monks / endowed with / people / after the breaking up of
the body & after death / happy state / heavenly / realm / are reborn in
Monks, people having right view are reborn in a heavenly realm, a state of
bliss, after the dissolution of the body and after death."

kaayakamma.m yathaadi.t.thi samatta.m samaadinna.m [ ya~nca
vaciikamma.m...pe... ya~nca
manokamma.m yathaadi.t.thi samatta.m samaadinna.m yaa ca cetanaa yaa ca
patthanaa yo ca pa.nidhi ye ca sa`nkhaaraa] sabbe te dhammaa
ani.t.thaayaakantaaya amanaapaaya ahitaaya dukkhaaya
sa.mvattanti.
for having wrong view / monks / for male individual / which-and so / bodily
action / according to (his) view / accomplished / undertaken / [which-and /
verbal action / ...and so on... / which-and / mental action / according to
(his) view / complete / undertaken / which / and / intention / which / and /
wish / which / and / aspiration / which / and / determinations] all / those
/ objects / to unpleasant / to not enjoyable / to not pleasing / to harm /
to misery / lead to
"And so, O monks, for the male individual having wrong view, all those
factors which a bodily action [verbal action, mental action, intention,
wish, aspiration and determinations] accomplished and undertaken according
to his view lead to misery, harm, unpleasant, not enjoyable and not
pleasing.

all / that / to bitterness / to pungency / to unpleasantness / leads to
And also, monks, just as margosa seed or luffa seed or bitter gourd seed
when buried in the moist earth, all that which absorbs the nutrients of the
earth and water leads to bitterness, acidity, unpleasantness.

And just so, monks, for the male individual having wrong view, indeed, all
those factors which a bodily action [verbal action, mental action,
intention, wish, aspiration and determinations] accomplished and undertaken
according to his view lead to misery, harm, unpleasant, not enjoyable and
not pleasing.

- evameva.m = eva.m eva.m: just so.
- kho (enclitic) indeed, surely.
