It is very kind of you to take the trouble going into the text more deeply.
I shall study the Pali at ease.
I also think of Ole's remark. The negation is something to reflect on.
I think that also worldlings can develop these recollections, but they may
not be as successful as the ariyans. As worldling, one does not know what
enlightenment means, it is merely a word one reads about.
Whereas for an ariyan who has developed insight and attained enlightenment,
all these recollections are full of meaning.
