an error here. The Pali reads:
imaa pana cha anussatiyo ariyasaavakaana~n~n' eva ijjhanti.

~Naa.namoli translates:
"These six recollections succeed only in noble disciples." >


The translator has overlooked the negation: The text says that "these six
anusssatis, moreover, are of no use at all to the ariyasaavakas." The
immediately following clause explains why: because they are obvious to them
(paaka.taa).
