confirm whether upagacchati is governed by the Ablative? Also, the

Upagacchati is constructed with nouns ending in the ablative affix to <
Sanskrit tas. This particular construction means to regard (upagacchati) X
as Y (+ -to). In the present case the clause means to regard the sankhaaras
as anicca. This type of construction is occasionally met with in the Pali
canon. Notice also that ya.m (that) entails the optative or potential form
upagaccheyya correspondng to Sanskrit yat (that) constructed with optative.
