Hello friends,

I don't know how many of you have signed up for an E-Sangha account so
that you can participate in the Pali Forum I moderate there, but I know
I have seen a few of you, so I have a favor to ask.

There is currently a debate of sorts (friendly though) going on about
how to translate sa"nkhaara. Bhikkhu Bodhi uses "volitional formations"
and simply "formations" depending, and he has written about why.
However, some people think that this translation doesn't work.
