Dear Robert,

I study many things, and whatever they may be, I try to get to exact
sources.
Studying Atthakatha, I also try to get the exact references.

I study suttas, which I believe to be reasonably well preserved words of
the Buddha, and draw conclusions from them.

Whenever Sutta and Atthakatha point in different directions, I rely on
suttas as more reliable source.
