Dear John,
Thank you very much for allowing me to post your message on the E-Sangha
board. As regards the other Pali group, it is very new. I asked the
administrator there to start it only recently when my Pali posts were
getting lost in the Theravada forum. He created it shortly thereafter, and
now it has been around for only a little over a week.
However, I'm posting all of my Warder translations (up to exercise 11 so
far) there and the SN translations that I've done so far too (only three
suttas). I have also compiled a collection of resources for those
translating from Pali to English, etc.
I have noticed that two members of this group have also posted some very
useful messages over there in the past week, and I have also asked questions
here to gain some clarification to posts I make over there. I am hoping
that anyone in this group might also be interested in posting there as well.
I constantly mention the Yahoo Pali group over there, and hope that that
will bring more interested Pali students to this group as well.
At any rate, I'll put the url to the site down below my signature so that
you can find it is you so desire. You must be a member to post, but it is
free to get an account.
Thanks again for letting me use your response to the issue of the fifth
precept.
Metta,
Alan
