Do you know where might be the most cost effective way to get ahold of the
first three volumes of this work. I found one copy of the first two volumes
for about $133 each, and I don't know if this is the going rate or not.

Many thanks! Vol. 3 Fascicles 1-7 is all that has been published so far,
and, I am sorry to say, fascicle seven is the last fascicle to be published:
It has been decided to discontinue the project.

sponsorede by the Carlsberg Foundation. Wonder if this is the same as the
famous beer company?>

That is correct. However, they stopped sponsoring the project after the
completion of Vol. II.
