Ma.n..dana means "ornaments." (page 516)

The precept means to abstain from using perfumes, cosmetics, or ornaments
that beautify the person or conceal defects. It is OK to wear a wedding
ring, but other jewellery, whether valuable or merely decorative, should
be removed.
