so long as we are not sotaapannas we cannot keep the precepts perfectly.
There may be circumstances that make it difficult to keep them, but we do
the best we can.
For a monk it is different, he is not allowed at all to kill them. Now we
understand that lay life is a Path of dust. Lay life makes it hard to keep
the precepts.
Perhaps if you wait a while, doing nothing, the problem may solve itself. I
am curious to hear from you.
Seeing unpleasant things, having bodily discomfort, it is result of kamma.
New kamma, new result. We would like to flee from unpleasant results, but it
may get worse. Who knows what is in store, it may be a worse plague or
calamity.
