N: I have another option for not ready. When we hear the word not ready we
ask: not ready for what.
akammaniya: PTS and also Ven. Nyanaponika (Wheel 155-158) have: intractable.
kammaniya is related to kammaññataa: fit for work, wieldy, dexterous. This
is a mental factor, cetasika, accompanying each kusala citta. When there is
no wieldiness, adaptability, kusala cannot be performed.
When akusala citta arises, there is lack of wieldiness.
I suggest for akammaniya: unwieldy. Also intractable will do.

The construction at the end: <yathayida.m, bhikkhave, citta.m> is not easy.
PTS and Ven. Nyanaponika: ..so intractable as the uncultivated mind.
Litterally: such as this mind. Namely: the uncultivated mind. They take the
preceding attributa together with citta.m.
We could just translate: such as the uncultivated mind, it sounds better to
my ear.

The Co. notes to abhaavita.m: A mind not grown, not progressing in mental
development.

cultivated, made lucid or manifest.'>
