No. "Patra" is correct in Sanskrit in the sense of a "leaf" etc. The
Sanskrit for "bowl" is "paatra", but this becomes "patta" in Pali, losing
the long vowel due to Pali phonological rules. This is confusing because
"patra" (leaf) also becomes "patta" !
