You might also like to consider using more verbs than nouns in translation, showing
more "doing" than "doer" wherever possible, for example, for (2) you could also
render as:
Who gives food give strength; who gives clothing, gives beauty.
It is helpful to remember that we are not translating grammar or words here, but
meanings.
