thanks. I have seen sentences with single ca, but have yet fully
understand its usage. However, in most cases, there are more than one
ca.

I use santi because I read the sentence as "There are very few
righteous and wise men". To avoid confusion, I am using your
suggestion, and have updated the page:

I would think that two ca's would be required in the Pali. [Maybe,
it's like dancing how can one cha-cha with just one cha! :-)] Also,
wouldn't "honti" be more correct than "santi" in this construction,
and in fact the use of neither perhaps more normal in Pali?
Thus:
Dhammikaa ca medhaavino ca katipayaa.
