I would think that two ca's would be required in the Pali. [Maybe,
it's like dancing how can one cha-cha with just one cha! :-)]
Also, wouldn't "honti" be more correct than "santi" in this
construction, and in fact the use of neither perhaps more normal in Pali?
Thus:
Dhammikaa ca medhaavino ca katipayaa.
