Dear Yong Peng and others,

Before anyone gets too excited, I don't believe anyone has said that
Bhikkhu Bodhi is "completing the AN translation soon". Certainly it
didn't come from me! What I do know is that he is working on it, and
it is indeed a priority for him, but despite that other projects come
up from time to time that take his attention. Also, health issues
often intervene to prevent him spending as much time on it as he
wishes. I understand he has almost completed one of the 11 nipatas,
and has a rough draft of another. But it could be many years yet
before the entire AN is translated and published.
