Hello. I am a new member of the Pali group. I live and work in Thailand and Laos, and have started to learn Pali through an interest both in Buddhism and languages. Last year I worked through the Pali Primer, and during the past several months I have been studying Introduction to Pali . At the moment I am completing chapters twenty one. The key to the translations posted on the internet is very useful, but I am still having difficulty with the Pali to English translations, particularly from chapters nineteen onwards. I probably understand about ninety percent, but have no one to turn to to explain the rest. I'm wondering if the answers are posted anywhere on the internet, or if I can trouble anyone with the questions I have. (I imagine I should be able to complete the translations myself based upon the information in the book, but it's difficult for me.) Anyway, I greatly appreciate the existence of this yahoo group on the internet, and I am glad to be a member.
