I forgot to mention in my last message that Vasubandhu equally profoundly
refutes the Vibhajjavadin (= Therevadin) refutation of the antarabhava and
shows at length and in detail how a denial of the antarabhava is both
nonsensical and contradictory to the Buddha's own words in the suttas. I
don't know how accessible such books are in your neck of the woods, but you
might find it interesting to read what he has to say in the Abhidharma-kosha
& bhasya III vv10-19. There is an English translation by Leo Pruden based
on that of de La Valle Poussin which you might be able to find-- I think
there is a cheap Indian reprint available in 4 volumes.
