The quote you give from the Stromata continues: "Some, too, of the Indians
obey the precepts of Buddha; whom, on account of his extraordinary sanctity,
they have raised to divine honours."

There are apparently other references to the Buddha in Clement's writings
such as the Homilies -- in which one I do not have the reference to hand
though he did write quite a number of these.
