I am sure you will learn a lot from your project.
I expect that you have already looked at the CSCD Tipitaka to see how that
is indexed.
One more question you need to ask is, "When was this discourse given?"
There is not much chronological information in the Tipitaka. To have a
clearer picture of the sequence of events in the Buddhas life and how is
teaching spread would be very helpful.
One important point. Make sure any Pali texts are encoded using Unicode.
