Dear Nina and friends,

Nina: JavaScript is not a script in the sense we understand various
Asian scripts. JavaScript is just a name for a programming language
built within all browsers released after 1995. Most browsers allow users
to set JavaScript on and off, usually under user's preference settings.

A screenshot is a computer term. I can't explain it well, but you can
refer to this page for a very good explanation:
http://explanation-guide.info/meaning/Screenshot.html

With my limited understanding, to check the Javascript, and make a
screenshot, I can only refer you to
1. your system manuals, which come with the purchase.
2. the help buttons in MacOS and the browser software.
3. online manuals at Apple's site: http://www.apple.com/support/imac/
4. your local Apple's technical support team

I wish you the best. Solving the JavaScript problem would certainly
allows you to view Alex's page correctly in Unicode, since your system
supports it. When you can make a screenshot of the page
http://www.tipitaka.net/pali/pali.php?course=lesson02&code=unicode , I
would help see the effect on iMac.

metta,
Yong Peng.

N: Java script is not among the different script I have.

the page on your system off-list. This would help me in understanding
the problem better.
N: I do not understand what a screenshot is. And of what page do you
want it?
