Dear Nina and friends,

thanks, Nina. It is possible that JavaScript performs differently (or
not at all) under different browsers, but not so likely in different
operating systems. However, i have checked that Alex's script worked
on Microsoft's IE, Netscape, FireFox and Opera.

Another possibility is that your browser does not support JavaScript
(only if you are using a browser before 1995) or you have disabled
the JavaScript support on your browser. You may like to check your
technician.

Anyway, what you have encountered is the disadvantage with using
JavaScript. For Ven. Narada's, I am using PHP scripting, all the work
is done by the server and translated in HTML, the browser only
displays it. In addition, it uses exactly the same preliminaries as
the check-sheet page [ http://www.tipitaka.net/forge/unicode.htm ].
If it is possible at all, you may like to send me a screenshot of the
page on your system off-list. This would help me in understanding the
problem better.

N: Yes, this is fine.

N: No, the Javascript does not work. I switched to Velthuis, and I
got Velthuis, but not Unicode with Java.
