Hi all,

I am also interested in the Stephen Hodge's lesson on Buddhist
Textual Chinese. Could anyone tell me how do I obtain the lesson?
Thank you.

Hopefully one day we could have a complete English translation of SA.
CHOONG Mun-keat recently published a book titled _Annotated
Translation of Sutras from the Chinese Samyuktagama relevant to the
Early Buddhist Teachings on Emptiness and the Middle Way_ (Lu Ye Chan
Si, Johor, Malaysia, 2004); but the book only has 13 sutra
translations selected from the SA. I am also unable to critically
judge the quality of his work.

I find this Pali Discussion Group is more than just the Pali
tradition, but indeed studies in Early Buddhism. It shows rather
objective open-minded manner.

Sincerely,

Thomas Law
