Re: word meaning

'Kassakaa' is the nominative plural of 'kassaka', meaning 'farmer'.
So the translation would be 'the farmers'. You'll find this on page 1
of the Pali Primer.

I remember this word because it is so close to 'kasati', the verb for
'ploughs'.
