Ajahn Sujato, a Western Buddhist bhikkhu, is a direct disciple of Ajahn Chah of the
Thai Forest Monastery, and is currently the abbot of the Santi Forest Monastery
outside Sydney, Australia.

He is an accomplished meditator as well as an observant, concerned and outspoken
scholar and writer of current Buddhist issues, a rare and wonderful combination in a
monk.

He works closely with Ajahn Brahmavamso in Australia.
